Types of agreement

General mandate:

  • You consent to the estate agent marketing your property.
  • You may involve other agents.
  • You may market the property yourself.
  • The simplest form of collaboration. The agent may work.

The sole mandate:

  • You appoint the agent to market your property.
  • You may not involve any other agents.
  • The agent is able to work more freely.
  • The agent is compelled to be proactive. You have a claim to his activity and involvement.
  • The mandate is valid for an agreed period, at the longest one year.

The exclusive mandate:

  • You place your property in the hands of the agent and leave the winding up to him alone.
  • Nevertheless, you make all the final decisions.
  • The agent is obliged to mediate the sale pro-actively.
  • You may not involve any other agents.
  • The mandate is valid for an agreed period, at the longest a year.
